First Annual

Ten Minute Quilt Play Festival

The first annual Quilt Play Festival, part of the Berea Quilt Extravaganza III activities, presented ten 10-minute plays with a theme of quilts/quilting. The playwrights hailed from as far away as Toronto, Canada, and as close to home as Berea, Kentucky. Each play was a testament to the profound affect that quilts have not just as providers of physical warmth, but also as givers of love, of comfort and of history. The Quilt Play Festival was directed by Kim Stinson.  Below are images from each play.
