Woven Asia:  Textiles and Baskets

from the collection of Jennifer and David Zurick

Asia contains an astonishing diversity of culture and landscape. This has produced some of the most beautiful and sophisticated artisan work in the world. The items in this exhibition were collected over the past thirty years by Jennifer and David Zurick as they traveled, worked and resided in various parts of Asia. The theme of the exhibit is woven material, and hence it highlights textile and basket art.
