Mountains, Mamas, & Moonshine: An Evening of Appalachian Music & Literature

This special event intertwines music and short readings that explore and celebrate the Appalachian culture of Eastern Kentucky. Author Bobi Conn and internationally renowned performer Carla Gover are both native Kentuckians with a deep love for the place and people that inspire their respective art forms. Carla will perform a curated playlist that complements Bobi's recent novel, A Woman in Time, which is set in Bath County, KY, during the Prohibition and Depression eras.

Our bar will be open throughout the performance with a one of a kind cocktail, The Rosalee, created specially by Lindsay Merbaum just for Bobi Conn's Woman in Time. Check out Lindsay’s website to see the other beautifully crafted cocktails she makes.
