Carissa Turpin, an Eastern Kentucky-born educator with 16 years of experience, is the author of the Moonbeam Award-winning middle grade novel, Doomsday Dani. She earned her MFA from EKU and now teaches middle school language arts in Louisville. Come to the Berea Arts Council on April 26th to hear a reading of one of her works!
